ASTM F468 (Standard Specification for Nonferrous Bolts, Hex Cap Screws, Socket Head Cap Screws, and Studs for General Use). Material conforms to ASTM B335 (Standard Specification for Nickel-Molybdenum Alloy Rod). |
| Thread |
Metric ISO standard. Available in full thread (DIN 933) and half thread (DIN 931) configurations. Class 6g tolerance for standard metric threads. |
| Properties & Applications |
Engineered specifically for extreme reducing environments. Hastelloy B2 bolts offer outstanding resistance to hydrochloric acid across all concentrations and temperatures. They also provide excellent resistance to hydrogen chloride gas, sulfuric, acetic, and phosphoric acids. Note: Hastelloy B2 fasteners should not be used in oxidizing media or in the presence of oxidizing salts (such as ferric or cupric chlorides). |
| Marking |
In accordance with ASTM F468. Fastener heads are forged with Manufacturer Identification (Ananka) and the respective Grade identifier. |
| Qualification & Acceptance |
Independently tested for hardness, thread tolerance, chemical analysis, and supplied with EN 10204 Type 3.1 Material Test Certification. |
