■ Torque & Installation Guidelines (UNC Threads)

Due to its high strength and ductility, Monel K500 is highly susceptible to thread galling. Engineered boundary lubrication (such as Molybdenum Disulfide or PTFE) is mandatory during installation. Applying dry torque specifications to a lubricated joint will cause catastrophic bolt over-tensioning.
