| Manufacturing Specification |
Washers are typically stamped or machined from Hastelloy B2 plate, sheet, or strip. Material strictly conforms to ASTM B333 (Standard Specification for Nickel-Molybdenum Alloy Plate, Sheet, and Strip). Dimensional tolerances strictly follow DIN 125, DIN 9021, or ASME B18.22.1. |
| Types Available |
Flat Washers (Form A / Form B), Spring Lock Washers, Belleville Washers, Machined Washers, and Custom Punched Washers. |
| Properties & Applications |
Crucial for distributing loads in highly specific chemical processing applications where fasteners are exposed to extreme reducing conditions. Hastelloy B2 washers ensure joint integrity when submerged in or exposed to pure hydrochloric acid, hydrogen chloride gas, or hot sulfuric acid. Important Engineering Note: Do not utilize Hastelloy B2 washers in oxidizing environments or in systems where iron or copper piping might introduce ferric or cupric salts into the media. |
| Marking |
Due to size constraints and stamping limitations on thin-gauge materials, flat washers are generally not permanently marked unless specifically requested by the client or required by a custom specification. |
| Qualification & Acceptance |
Independently tested for hardness, chemical analysis, and supplied with EN 10204 Type 3.1 Material Test Certification. |
