| Thread |
Metric ISO standard. Available in full thread (DIN 933) and half thread (DIN 931) configurations. Class 6g tolerance for standard metric threads. |
| Properties & Applications |
Hastelloy B3 is an upgrade over B2, offering the same outstanding resistance to hydrochloric acid and other strongly reducing media, but with vastly superior thermal stability. This means B3 bolts are far less susceptible to embrittlement and stress corrosion cracking during high-temperature exposure or manufacturing processes. Ideal for severe chemical processing applications, including acetic, formic, and phosphoric acids. Note: Like B2, Hastelloy B3 fasteners should not be used in the presence of oxidizing media or oxidizing salts. |
| Marking |
In accordance with ASTM F468. Fastener heads are forged with Manufacturer Identification (Ananka) and the respective Grade identifier. |
| Qualification & Acceptance |
Independently tested for hardness, thread tolerance, chemical analysis, and supplied with EN 10204 Type 3.1 Material Test Certification. |
