UNS R04200 is Reactor Grade, Commercially Pure Niobium. Because Niobium and Tantalum are found together in nature and have similar properties, separating them is difficult. For reactor-grade Niobium, the Tantalum level is strictly kept extremely low (typically < 0.10%) to optimize its nuclear cross-section and specific physical properties, which is carefully validated in the chemistry section.
