Standard companion nut is ASTM A194 (2H with B7, grade 7 with B7M, grade 8/8M with B8/B8M). ASME SA193 is the identical BPVC adoption. B7=AISI 4140/4142; B8/B8M=304/316. For low-temperature service the equivalent is ASTM A320.
